Overview:

Duties:

  • Manage and supervise the housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
  • Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards
  • Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with hotel standards
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to address any guest requests or issues
  • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed
  • Maintain a safe working environment for the housekeeping staff by enforcing safety guidelines and procedures
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns regarding housekeeping services in a professional manner

Experience:

  • Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality management is required
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and chemicals used in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests, staff, and management

Salary:
£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
