Job Description:
Connex Education is collaborating with a Secondary Grammar School located in Bacup, Lancashire. This school caters to students who have secured their places through entrance examinations. They are currently seeking a temporary Geography Teacher to cover KS3 and KS4 classes for the first term of the upcoming academic year. This part-time role will involve working 3 days a week with Wednesdays and Fridays off.

Requirements for the Role:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience primarily in teaching Geography at KS3, with GCSE experience being advantageous.
• Demonstrate drive, ambition, and the ability to challenge, inspire, and motivate students through innovative teaching methods, with a track record of achieving outstanding progress in external examinations.
• Exhibit enthusiasm, motivation, and a genuine passion for the subject, inspiring students and maintaining high teaching standards.
• Be open to new ideas, work collaboratively, remain flexible, and possess a good sense of humor.
• Possess strong moral and ethical values, adaptability in challenging situations, and maintain integrity at all times.
