We have an exciting opportunity at our Shena Simon Campus to join us as an ESOL Teacher on a permanent, full time (35 hours per week) basis.

As an ESOL Teacher you will provide supervision of your curriculum area, ensuring that you meet budget, quality, and operational targets. You will deliver high quality, learner-focused education providing a secure and friendly environment in order for your students to succeed. In your role you will plan, lead, and develop the curriculum area within the establishment to ensure compliance with the national curriculum framework, the integration of functional skills, best practice, and quality targets.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Certificate of education or PGCE
• Current and valid industry specialism
• Assessor qualifications (if required by Awarding Organisation)
• Minimum Level 3 occupational qualification
• English and maths minimum level 2 Grace C or grade 4 and above
• Experience of delivering English to second language students both 16/18 and Adult from Beginner to Upper Intermediate
• In our curriculum offer we deliver; English, Numeracy, Employability and Digital Skills. Knowledge and experience of these subject/skills would be an advantage.
