As part of the major infrastructure programme underway at the Devonport site, VGC are recruiting Agents for a Tier 1 main contractor who are delivering substantial upgrades to existing infrastructure that will support the future capability of the Royal Navy and the UK's Defence Nuclear Enterprise.

Due to continued growth, the position of an Agent has become available to join our successful team based in Plymouth.

This is an on-site role and candidates must be able to obtain Security Clearance.

We are working on an infrastructure upgrade programme to support the MODs future requirements in relation to both its warship and submarine programme.

Key AccountabilitiesCo-ordination of sub-contractor activities, including chairing regular co-ordination meetings with staff and subcontractorsEnsuring project documentation is completed for hand-over and Take OverStudying drawings and technical documents and raising technical queries for clarification of any conflicting informationEnsuring Non-Conformance Reports are issued when requiredIn liaison with the Site Agent maintain the Site Risk RegisterRole RequirementsDegree level/HNC/HND qualification in a Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience) and vocational training in Engineering
