Responsibilities include
To be able to work to KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) so that the department meets its objectives
Maintain Production Plan to make sure jobs run efficiently and are completed on time to meet customer expectations
Creates and releases Work Orders, with adherence to completion dates, component and capacity availability, and any other resource issues needed to support on-time delivery to internal and external customers
Collaborate with various departments to ensure a cohesive & efficient plan and process is followed
Daily management of Sales Orders for On Time In Full (OTIF) delivery updating MRP system to reflect lead-times and achievable deliveries
Maintain ZDSO (Zero Dollar Sales Orders) request
ECO/NPI management - review release of Engineering Change Orders and determine the impact to production.
Involvement on project teams to provide planning input to structures, build sequences and best practices for New Product Introduction and new module release.
Monitor and report on project timelines, identifying potential delays or bottlenecks and proposing solutions to mitigate risksCreating and maintaining Excel reports and spreadsheets
To carry out any other work or task determined to be within your level of competence, to meet the needs of the business
Experience /Skills required
Excellent organisational and IT skills (Word/Excel/Outlook, Power Point etc) with confidence working on spreadsheets
Understanding of production processes (system and shop floor)
Methodical working style
Experience /Skills desired
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
Technical ability/ability to read from drawings
