The main purpose of this job is to ensure the customer receives the highest quality of customer service.

To assist the operational running of the bar and dining areas in the absence of the manager or assistant manager.

You would also be responsible at times for opening and closing.

You MUST have experience in hospitality (bar, pub or restaurant), be reliable, hardworking and able to DELIVER EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL TIMES.

Duties:

  • To be in charge of a shift.
  • To open or close the premises, in the absence of the manager or assistant manager.
  • Preparing alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverages for our customers.
  • Interacting with customers, taking orders and serving snacks, food and drinks.
  • Assessing customers' needs and preferences and making recommendations.
  • Know how to change a barrel of cask or keg ale.
  • Deal with any customer complaints, should they arise.
  • Use initiative to ensure jobs are done and areas checked at quiet times.
  • Liaise with the owner or executive chef regarding any large booking enquiries.
  • To maintain high standards of hygiene, health and safety.


You must be outgoing, bubbly, confident, reliable, hardworking and honest and have some experience of serving food and drinks and delivering excellent customer service.


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Pay:
£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
