Private Client Tax Technician

Salary: £34,000 (Dependent on Experience)
Tax Compliance Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit individual tax returns for clients
- Liaise with HMRC (or relevant tax authorities) on client queries and correspondence
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, understanding their financial situations and tax needs
- Respond to client inquiries regarding their tax affairs in a clear and professional manner
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client tax records
- Manage assigned workload effectively, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of tax regulations and principles
- Experience with tax return preparation software and tax calculation tools
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
- (AAT, ATT, CTA) preferred
