We are looking for a confident communicator who has a good level of IT competency who is comfortable working in a team which drives success both in service delivery and revenue.
Working 12 hours night shifts on 4 on 4 off shift pattern, this role offers you the opportunity to drive improvement towards delivering a first-class service to our customers whilst ensuring all deliveries and collections are on time.
Having experience ina fast-paced environment, you will be working closely with the drivers, planning, warehouse & outlying depots to co-ordinate the transport operation.
Communicating with drivers via telematics systems, and supporting the planners working alongside you, combinedwith a level of general administration duties, which are required for this position.
Customer service is at the heart of DFDS and so it is important that you can engage and actively build relationships with our customers to ensure repeat business.
A good level of administration experience would be advantageous combined with an ability to work on your own initiative and flexibility to cover holidays and sickness.
You'll be liaising with various stakeholders and dealing with any queries with may arise, so we'll need you to work quickly but accurately.
Maintaining professionalism, you will do your utmost to make sure all operational movementsare completed on time and to the customers satisfaction, all monitored through robust KPI's.
