Supplier Quality Engineer6-month contract.

Inside IR35.ResponsibilitiesAs the Supplier Quality Engineer you will be responsible for the the management and resolution of quality issues within the supplied parts team.

You will follow defined processes to raise Initial Complaint Reports and Supplier 8D landscape requests appropriately.

You will ensure the problem landscapes are clearly communicated to the appropriate suppliers and engage with QMT's (Quality Management Parts) and supplier representatives at all levels to steer the problem-resolution process and challenge proposed solutions.

You will action all third party queries and ensure issues are dealt with efficiently and effectively and containment activity is transferred to suppliers as quickly as possible, escalating problems and suppliers where necessary.

Providing cross-functional support to process partners with respect to problem analysis and module meetings, you will ensure clear communication if quality topics within the organisation.

QualificationsPossession of an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent education is required.
Proven capability to apply Quality problem-solving tools efficiently is essential.
Ability to interpret Engineering Drawings and use basic measuring equipment.
