The role
As a Warehouse Operative, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. In this role you will play an integral part in the logistics and supply chain for Babcock DSG.

Day to day, you'll action supplier deliveries within goods
- inward department & transaction through inbound receipting process

Further responsibilities include:

  • MHE operation to assist & support warehouse tasks where required
  • Complete regular housekeeping as part of warehouse operative role
  • Maintenance of stock integrity through product compliance including checking of CofC, shelf life to ensure throughprocess control
  • Action outbound picking activity in response to Babcock customer demands, ensuring accuracy, correct condition, and sufficient packaging for onward distribution
This role is 37 hours per week, working 8am - 4pm Monday to Thursday and 8am - 3:30pm on Fridays

Essential experience of the Warehouse Operative:

  • MHE licence
  • Basic level of IT skills
  • IT Literate (Microsoft excel)
  • Knowledge of warehousing and MRP systems
  • Knowledge of warehouse (SAP) system is desirable
