Job Title:

Security Risk and Compliance Engineer (Aviation)

This role is vital in safeguarding the company's data from cyber threats and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive security risk management framework.
  • Write technical, business, and compliance documentation/reports.
  • Provide project support for Aircraft Network Security functions.
  • Collaborate with industry partners like aircraft manufacturers.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and identify vulnerabilities.
  • Liaise with Cyber Security teams on network and security advisories.
  • Audit security controls and measures to mitigate risks.
  • Review and recommend updates to security policies and procedures.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Deep knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS.
  • Experience in security risk management & compliance.
  • Strong understanding of network security principles.
  • Proficiency in Linux operating systems.
  • Professional certifications like CISSP, CISA, CRISC preferred.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of national and international legislation & regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience in the aeronautical Air Traffic Service domain preferred.
