Peace Recruitment is collaborating with a client who is searching for a Tiler to join their team. They have job openings in West Edinburgh, Fountainbridge.
  • Duties:
  • Measure and cut tiles to fit around obstacles and into spaces and corners
  • Prepare surfaces for tiling by removing old tiles, grout, and debris
  • Mix and apply mortar or other adhesives to secure tiles in place
  • Align tiles and straighten them with straightedges, levels, or squares
  • Create decorative wall and floor designs by laying out tiles in different patterns
  • Apply grout between tiles to fill gaps and seal joints
  • Install tile edging and trim around the borders of the installation area
  • Experience:
  • A skilled Tiler with solid previous experience
  • Knowledge of various tile materials and their characteristics
  • Familiarity with hand tools such as tile cutters, hammers, chisels, and power saws
  • Attention to detail and capability to work autonomously or as part of a team
