As a Principal Medical Writer, you'll embark on an exhilarating journey where your expertise will drive innovation and excellence:

Leading Projects and Clients:

  • Become the primary point of contact for specific projects, offering scientific leadership for designated client accounts and providing operational and budgetary support.
  • Take charge of managing the delivery of a diverse range of project types across client accounts, guiding account teams to achieve scientific excellence.
  • Ensure the team produces clear, accurate, and grammatically correct written work that aligns with project briefs, timelines, and budgets.
  • Serve as a key source of account/product/therapy area expertise, contributing creative ideas and concepts to enhance project outcomes.

Fostering Quality and Compliance:

  • Implement editorial processes that uphold document quality and adhere to client procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Review project work to ensure alignment with content, flow, readability, creativity, and scientific accuracy standards.
  • Lead discussions on editorial processes, document quality, and medical communications strategy, providing guidance to team members.

Inspiring Leadership and Management:

  • Lead and motivate editorial team members, effectively briefing other account team members as needed.
  • Mentor junior team members, providing support and guidance on client and project-related issues.
  • Efficiently manage project resourcing and liaise with senior colleagues to engage freelancers as necessary.

Driving Learning and Development:

  • Proactively share knowledge and experience to support the transfer of knowledge across the team.
  • Participate in training programs and engage in personal development activities to enhance your skills.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on client and project-related matters.

Fueling Commercial and Business Growth:

  • Demonstrate a detailed understanding of project budgets and scopes of work, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently.
  • Identify organic growth opportunities for existing accounts and contribute to new business activities to support the future growth of Bioscript Group.

Your Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated excellence as a Senior Medical Writer in an agency or pharma environment.
  • Evidence of ability to perform at a more senior level, showcasing leadership and strategic thinking.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
