Personal Care Assistant Required in Macclesfield, SK10

£10.42 per hour

10 hours per week
We are looking for a personal care assistant who can support a gentleman with autism, diabetes. Learning disability, neuropathy in legs and back, Hearing loss. Based in Macclesfield, SK10.

£10.42 per hour 10 hours per week - Times and days can be flexible and will be discussed at interview with the employer.

Main Duties:

Encourage & motivate to exercise - such as walking and swimming so he can lose weight.


Encourage to use his hearing aids - He does not like wearing them as he does not like the noise, but when he is looking after his daughter he needs to wear these to ensure he can hear properly for his & his daughters safety while out of the house.


PA will be required to work alongside this gentleman and his young daughter to help them bond, without mum needing to be there.

This could be a walk to the park with him and his daughter.


Encourage & motivate to wake up and get out of bed in a morning and help him to get into a routine.

Encourage to prepare healthy meals

PA will be working alongside the employer as employer is also the full time carer.

Person Specification:


This gentleman does have an interest in football and likes to go and watch his local team play on Friday afternoons.

Once PA & this gentlemen form a bond it will be nice for the PA to join him when attending the football games so PA to have an interest in football is ideal.

Experience in working with people with autism is essential for this role.

An enhanced DBS check will be required prior to employment commencing. This full funded by your employer.


PA will need to be able to speak English fluently and clearly due to this gentleman being hard of hearing.
