Salary: £27084 per year including shift premium
A reputable drinks manufacturer in Aston, Birmingham is seeking a dedicated full-time process operative/production operative to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the food, beverage, or pharmaceutical industry and possess a keen eye for detail.
In this role, you will work on a rotating three-shift pattern, initially starting on day shifts and then transitioning to a night shift.
Role:
The successful process operator will work across various areas of the processing department under the guidance of the shift manager. Responsibilities will include fermentation preparation, product filtration, syrup makeup, pasteurizer operation, tanker loading/unloading, cleaning tasks, and data input into SAP.
The desired candidate should view this as a long-term career opportunity rather than a temporary position.
Key Skills:
- Operate material handling equipment like forklifts (training provided if needed)
- Compliance with safety policies and procedures
- Capability to learn and perform various tasks within the department
- Adaptability to different working environments
- Physical requirements include bending, stooping, lifting up to 25KG, and standing for extended periods
