Key Accountabilities:

  • To conduct defined quality checks, in conjunction with the QA Officer CA Plant Support, in a timely manner to facilitate the release of finished product batches
  • To maintain the batch release spreadsheet & liaise with the Production & Logistics teams on batch status
  • To prepare quality statements for customers in a timely manner informing them of deviating batches, in conjunction with the Pet Technical Manager, as required
  • To actively engage with Account Managers & customers to agree & maintain positive release programmes
  • To create, manage & review procedures & records related to TNGB batch release, positive release programmes & customer communication
  • To amend and maintain documentation for our Food Safety Management System
  • To communicate changes in customer requirements to all interested parties
  • To liaise with the Laboratory team on analysis turnaround times & retests / repeats, with support from the QA Officer CA Plant Support, as required
  • To actively engage with customers in a timely manner to help provide a high standard of service
  • To compile documentation to accompany customer deliveries, including weighment reports, certificates & statements, as required
  • To arrange reanalysis & resampling, as required, in conjunction with the QA Officer Companion Animal Plant Support


To succeed in this role you will have knowledge of feed safety management systems and feed legislation and labelling requirements.

In addition, you will be trained in HACCP and have knowledge of LIMS.


You must be able to work as part of a team, have good attention to detail and strong communication skills.
