The role holder will need to be familiar with financial and banking matters in a centralised cash management environment, where cash is pooled to the Group parent on a daily basis.

Some informal authority over other departments to maintain control, compliance and accuracy - can escalate to Treasury ManagerThe role occasionally supports the implementation of small development projects, coordinating the activities of internal and external teamsSupport the improvement of the performance / targets / KPIs of the centralised Treasury team, ensuring high quality and continuous improvement through the use of action plansResponsible for monitoring and improving service level agreementsRole assists with contacts with multiple external parties; a number of banks and other financial institutions, insurance agencies, statutory auditors, third party software suppliers and legal advisorsFinancial services are provided to full scope Northern Europe so there are multiple internal customers; Operational Finance, Operational Managers (bonds, guarantees), Corporate Finance Function (London), Internal Control, IS&T, Finance SSC Peers and Group TreasuryBank repository and account administration (opening,closing, linking to systems etc)Management of cash pooling including calculation / posting of interestAnalyse financial results (external cost of financing, forex)Responsibility for analysing financial lines in Vector (financial debt, cash & cash equivalent, working capital etc)Provide and analyse cash flow forecasts and actuals to Treasury Manager, including the explanation of discrepanciesPropose then manage action plans that improve operational cash flows (including working capital, capex etc) and improve the robustness and reliability of cash flow forecastsWhat we're looking for;Finance / Treasury / Accounting qualificationTreasury experience or a strong interest in developing your treasury knowledge/experience.

Accounting knowledge(has ideally obtained some accounting qualifications and worked in a Treasury environment)Understands Treasury Management Systems (TMS)Understands relevant accounting standards (IFRS)If you don't meet all of our outlined requirements we'd still love for you to apply.
