Job Summary

Technical assistant needed to work with London based artist at their storage facility near Stratford, temporary role.

Job Description

Part-time technical assistant needed to work with a London based artist at their art storage in East London.

You'll assist with condition checking and organising sculptural and mixed media works. You'll be working alongside the artist.

You should be accustomed to working outdoors and onsite at warehouses. You should be confident handling heavy and awkard items.

Ideally you will have experience as an art technician.

This is temporary position over June, July and August 2024.

This is great job for someone looking to pick up additional work over the summer months as scheduling will be flexible.

Job Requirements

You should be accustomed to onsite working at outdoor facilities.

You should be confident handling and securing heavy items.

Ideally, you will have experience working as a technician or in logistics.

Job Responsibilities

To assist with condition checking and organising of sculptural and mixed media artwork, so as to create and maintain an accessible storage system and space for the artwork.

To update the online inventory of works and report back to the artist.
