The North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust are looking for an Assistant Director of Quality and Patient Safety, to work with and proactively support the Deputy Director of Quality & Safety to ensure that appropriate governance systems function effectively within the Trust and will be required to Chair internal and external meetings and have oversight of key systems and processes relating to safety and quality which support trust governance.
Responsibilities will include providing professional assurance and advice at all levels both internally and externally to the Trust and ensuring that dynamic and effective escalation systems are in place, including the production and co-ordinating of a range of assurance reports.
