Role Summary


To support business performance and create business advantage, we are recruiting ambitious innovative
Senior Contract Buyer to join our dedicated and inspirational purchasing contracts team.

Procurement is defined as; sourcing, negotiating, and buying of goods, materials, and services to meet the company's operational requirements.

You will be the driving force at the forefront towards ensuring we remain recognised in the marketplace as the benchmark provider of quality vitamins, minerals and supplement products, services, and innovation.

As the Senior Contract Buyer your duties are of paramount importance.

You will be accountable for purchase goods, materials, and services to ensure that operational needs are met; identifying and leading opportunities to drive performance in supply, cost, quality, innovation, and risk.


Responsible for the full end-to-end sourcing and supply process, you will support business stakeholders by leading and executing tendering, negotiating, contracting, and contract management activities.


To be successful in this position you will demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the industry's best practice with tenacious characteristics to exceed expectation.


Skills/Experience/Qualifications

  • A degree is not essential for this role, however, evidence of related field qualifications and/or evidenced of experience in best practice procurement within relevant categories.
  • Experienced in category management and development of sourcing strategies.
  • Excellent negotiating skills drawing up and dealing with contracts of varying values, complexities and managing supplier Service Level Agreements.
  • Evidence of working in an environment where supply is driven by forecasting and medium to longterm planning.
  • Commercially astute analyst with a strong understanding of leveraging operating efficiencies to gain added value from suppliers and logistics partners.
  • Ability to effectively manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve longterm success
  • A professional approachable personality that translates well across all communication methods & reporting methods.
  • A people centric person who has the ability to quickly build & develop a professional rapport with stakeholders.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills for communicating with a range of both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Team management, leadership, & development skills.
  • Project management and organisational skills.
  • Dynamic thinking and problemsolving abilities with the ability to think strategically using initiative and confidence.
