Copello has partnered with a leading defence company who specialise in the design and manufacture of advance systems for air, land and sea applications.

The company are currently looking to hire a Product Assurance Engineer to join the quality supply chain team in Stevenage or Bolton.


Key Responsibilities:

Non-Conformance Management:
The successful candidate will handle major equipment supplier product non-conformances. They will lead defect investigations with suppliers to ensure effective corrective actions are implemented. Responsibilities include analysing and reporting on supplier non-conformance data and identifying improvements in the non-conformance management process within SAP.n

Supplier Surveillance:
Collaborate with internal customers to select candidate suppliers for surveillance planning and manage schedules for these activities.n

Quality Audits:
Conduct quality audits and assessments in line with the surveillance plan and contracted quality requirements. The role includes reviewing supplier corrective actions and conducting product acceptance to mitigate project risks.n

Continuous Improvement:
Identify process improvements to support on-time and high-quality product delivery throughout the product lifecycle.n

Supply Chain Background:
Strong background in quality supply chain environments with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.n

Standards Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of key external standards such as EN9100.n

Quality Techniques:
Proficient in Quality Tools & Techniques (8D, Six Sigma, DMAIC, Kaizen, PFMEA).
