UI/UX Front End Developer


to work with our team.nYou will be expected to work within a small team to both support existing products and develop exciting new systems.nOur work is hugely varied.

The ability to research and problem solve is more important to us than experience in one technology stack.


Responsibilitiesn·Design and Development:Design and develop software solutions, including aesthetically pleasing and intuitive frontend dashboard and user interfaces.n·Presentation:Take complex data sources and condense them into visualisations that allow non-technical people to gain insights and make decisions based on them.

n·Problem Solving

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the reliability and performance of the software applications.n·Collaboration

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX/UI designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions on time.

Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, API specifications, and deployment procedures.n·Innovation

Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Introduce innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of our software products.

have:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, GIS or related field. (Extensive experience can be used as a substitute)n
Demonstrable knowledge of front-end development and web frameworksn
Expertise in handling, processing and manipulating event datan
Expertise in handling, processing and manipulating time series datan
Expertise in handling, processing and manipulating geospatial datan
Proven experience (2 years) in data visualisation / front-end developmentn
Proficient in agile methodologyn
Proficient in both complex problem solving and troubleshooting/debuggingn
Competence in GIS software (ESRI suite, QGIS, ArcPy)n
Proficiency in visualisation platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Redash)n
Proficiency in UI/UX and product designn

Proficiency in one or more of the following:
Javascript/Typescript, Python, PHPn
Competence in Microsoft Power Suite (Power Apps, Automate, BI, Pages) and DAX expressions.n
Capable of being self-motivated and working independently from high level goals
