About Us
Cheshire Cupcakes is a small, independent cake shop based in the heart of Cheshire, in the market town Nantwich.

We pride ourselves in baking by hand small batches of cupcakes, brownies and blondies, utilising high quality products using our own recipes and the finest ingredients.

We are looking for a baker to join our team with an immediate start, who has the ability to use their initiative and work well in a fast paced environment under pressure and takes pride in the work that they do baking cakes

This position is offered on a permanent basis working a minimum of 12 hours per week. With the requirement to work further hours according to the needs of the business, including sickness and holiday cover.

The Role


As a baker, we are looking for you to have the ability to make consistently high quality cakes daily and to be passionate to achieve this.


To Qualify
Whether you are a Cake Baker/Pastry Chef/Baker or similar we need:

  • Experience in cake baking at volume (at least one year)
  • Creative and have a passion for baking
  • Able to confidently lonework independently but also work cooperatively within a team
  • Prepared to help out the rest of the team in a willing, positive manner and a 'can do' attitude
  • Able to work in a busy environment and work to deadlines
  • Demonstrate accuracy and initiative to ensure we achieve our service standards
  • Obtain a clean driving license with access to a vehicle to commute to our bakery, based just outside of Nantwich
