Principal EC&I Engineer - HYBRID

Warrington/Preston Hub's

2/3 Days ONSITE a WEEK

12months +

Rates (PAYE AND UMBRELLA) £57 - £75/hr

Role is inside IR35 meaning that workers who are travelling will not be able to claim their lodgings/mileage.

Job Purpose:
The Principal Engineer provides leadership in the delivery of engineering and technical activities through the application of process, domain knowledge and experience.
At this level, the Principal Engineer, with a wealth of engineering expertise, tackles various technical challenges, generates technical reports, interacts with stakeholders, and guides team members within the discipline.

  • Engineering degree (or equivalent qualification) in relevant engineering discipline, plus substantial demonstrable experience
  • Chartered Engineer status
  • Experience leading teams in conducting analysis tasks across different project types
  • Managing a range of tasks of varying complexities
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various fields

Desirable:
Being a member of a relevant institute or possessing significant demonstrable engineering experience eligible for Engineering Council registration.
Managing engineering scope from initial design to complete Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) phases
Broad experience in commercial or defense project environments.
