CV Screen is recruiting for an Accountant for a well-established accounting firm. The role is hybrid with 1 day from home and 4 days in the office based in Bridgwater and a salary of up to £45,000 is available.ROLE DETAILSYour role as Accountant will see you provide support for Managers and Directors in providing professional accountancy services to fee-paying clients.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:
Preparation of limited company statutory financial statements from source records
Preparing corporation tax computation calculations and basic tax planning
Experience in the production of management accounts including commentary
Responsibility for mentoring junior members of staff.
Reviewing accounts files and taxation computation in readiness for partner final review and sign off.
REQUIRED SKILLS
The Accountant will have the majority of the following experience:
Accountancy qualification ICAEW/ACCA or qualified by experience.
Familiar with IRIS/Sage/QuickBooks/ Xero accountancy software
Proven experience in a similar accountancy role in a practice
Lives locally to Bridgwater
SALARY:Basic salary up to £45,000Benefits include:
