We are undergoing recruitment for a Warehouse Operative in Technical Production within the Oswestry area. This is a temporary to permanent position at £11 per hour.

The working hours are as follows:

  • 45 hours based on a flexible shift pattern
  • Over time paid at time and a half of hourly rate
  • Attend weekend stock counts when required
Roles and Responsibilities

  • Arranging repairs or replacement of assets
  • Ensuring all stock controls are up to date
  • Preparing of jobs and equipment at the warehouse
  • Stock controls are up to date
  • Investigate discrepancies within 24 hours
  • Report and investigate stock adjustments to minimise risk
  • Assisting in general warehouse tasks when required
  • Responsible for efficient storage of technical production equipment in the warehouse
  • General housekeeping duties around the warehouse
  • PAT testing
  • Maintenance of technical production equipment and update service records
  • Carry out basic repairs to equipment and review technical manuals for equipment used
  • Ability to use your own initiative and also as a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to learn new systems and changes to processes

Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience and an understanding of warehousing and/or stock control
  • Experience and an understanding of technical production
  • Fully PC literate across different platforms (google suite and/or experience using current RMS is desirable)
  • Full UK driving license
  • Industry standard qualifications preferred
  • BS7909 qualification
  • Forklift, picker, telehandler preferred
  • Knowledge of Chamsys, L Accoustics Network Manager
  • Training provided as part of company training schemes
