The role

This firm is currently seeking a Commercial Litigation Partner to join their West End, London office.

The team is busy and due to an influx of new work, they are seeking to hire a new Commercial Litigation Partner. You will work with the other partners to drive the department forward, whilst mentoring and supporting the more junior members of the team.

Commercial Litigation is a core practice area for the firm. They deal with a broad and very varied client base which makes for an interesting role. This includes working across a wide range of industry sectors. The team currently stands at six, but due to an uplift in work and some new client wins, they are seeking to grow the department further. The team have recently dealt with a case that attracted a great deal of press attention.

You will work with OMB, SME, HNW individuals, and some national companies. You will work closely with the firms Corporate Commercial department.

The caseload will include but not be limited to; Contract disputes, professional negligence claims, debt recovery, director and shareholder actions, Company disputes, insolvency, cross-border litigation, unlawful interference with business, business partnership disputes, health & safety prosecutions and corporate fraud.

You will join a busy, professional, and reputable team that is going from strength to strength.

Requirements

You will be a Commercial Litigation Solicitor with at least eight years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience)You will have had good experience dealing with a broad palette of conveyancing workExperience in mentoring and leading more junior lawyers is to advantage but is not essential.Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on your background.
