Department:Adolescent and Care Experienced Team**We are looking to recruit a Child Exploitation Practitioner (12-month maternity cover) post.
The Adolescent and Child Exploitation Team has a focus on supporting children, young people and families at risk of Child Sexual Exploitation, Criminal Exploitation and harmful sexual behaviours.
The team works with young people and their families managing and responding to risk whilst also assisting families to achieve and sustain change.
You will work in partnership with an enthusiastic and successful team consisting of a Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager, a number of qualified professional Social Workers, Child Exploitation Practitioners, admin and Willow workers.
B&NES has an Ofsted rating of "Good" for its work with Children and Young People, making it one of the top performing Local Authorities both regionally and nationally.
About the role:
This challenging but rewarding role will see you supporting the team in leading in Child Exploitation by responding to, co-ordinating and delivering a range of social care services to children, young people and families in the Bath and North East Somerset area.
We work closely with our colleagues across the service and have established partnerships with agencies across health, education, police, support services and adult services to ensure we can respond as effectively as possible to the needs of children and young people.
