We are seeking a Matron to join the Housekeeping team for a private boarding school in Pangbourne.

Working alongside the Housemistress and Assistant Housemaster, you will be responsible for the supervision and care of pupils in their division.

The position will be to start as soon as possible and will be for - 8 weeks.

Location:
PangbourneWorking Hours: 8am - 5.30pm, Mon, Tues, Thurs / 8am - 4.30pm, Wed & FriSalary: £ £14.00 per hour (depending on experience)


Temporary: - 8 weeksYou will need to have good interactive skills with the pupils, parents, and guardians by being a good listener, flexible in outlook, reliable, warm and friendly in disposition, with sufficient sensitivity to demonstrate tact and diplomacy.

As well as being responsible for the health, dress, and general well being of pupils, you will also be responsible for the housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry.

The successful person will have the following related skills / experience:
Calm, warm, and kind mannerAbility to communicate effectively with pupils, parents, and staffSufficient sensitivity to demonstrate tact and diplomacyExcellent attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work under pressurePunctual and reliableCurrent driving licence is essential for this positionPrevious experience of working within education would be an advantageous but not essential
