Purpose


The Electrician will work across various production areas to address electrical needs, ensuring that production deadlines are met efficiently, safely, and to the required quality standards.

There will be 6-10 weeks' worth of training in our Bournemouth site in a buddy system (Monday to Friday).

Key Responsibilities


Execute tasks across all aspects of production to meet deadlines.nManufacture electrical harnesses, components, and control modules.nConduct tests and inspections of electrical assemblies.nInstall electrical components into units.nFit aircraft galleys with required electrical setups.nInterpret engineering drawings and wiring diagrams accurately.nAchieve production targets and maintain high-quality standards.nAdhere to Health & Safety regulations at all times.nMaintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area.nPropose improvements to enhance production flow.nReport issues to line management promptly.nManage the upkeep of supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to meet quality and safety standards.

Knowledge, Education, and Skills

Knowledge:
nProven experience in a production environment, preferably with 3-5 years in aerospace.nProficient with MRP systems and good IT skills.

Education:
nTime-served apprenticeship in electrical engineering is preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

nAbility to prioritise tasks effectively.nKeen attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills.nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities.nStrong commitment to Health and Safety.nOpen to giving and receiving feedback to foster a positive team environment.nExperience with manufacture of electrical harnesses, components, control modules, crimping, harness making and loop building.

Other Material RequirementsnFlexibility to work at different sites as needed.nWillingness to work additional hours to meet production goals.
