About The Role

Here at TAC Healthcare, we are expanding our teams and we have a requirement for a Consultant Endoscopist who will be required to perform a range of Diagnostic Endoscopic procedures.

This is for a new contract in Barnstaple Hospital. We are looking to support the NHS by staffing two endoscopy rooms, weekends only, starting 2nd weekend in March.

What you'll do:

• Successful applicants will be required to demonstrate an exceptional level of skill in the following areas: Diagnostic Colonoscopy, Diagnostic Gastroscopy, Diagnostic Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
• Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required to gaining UK CCST
• Offer expert clinical opinion on a range of issues in elective gastroenterology, drawing on substantive experience in the speciality.
• Participate in the collection and submission of Global Rating Scale and patient outcome data

About you:

• Comply to the British Society of Gastroenterologist guidelines
• JAG accreditation.
• A UK registerable Medical Degree
• GMC registration with a license to practice
• Entry on to the specialist register for Gastroenterology or General Surgery
