About the role:


The post-holder is responsible for smooth running and management of the Group Exercise timetable from liaising with Group Exercise Instructors, discussing with members their requirements and liaising with external providers and suppliers regarding emerging fitness trends; with the aim of delivering a first class friendly, efficient customer service and to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all of our members and visitors, with the key aim of retaining and attracting new customers.


Key responsibilities include (Please see JD for full requirements):

  • To provide a balanced Group Exercise Programme that meet the needs and demands of the members
  • making sure it is delivered weekly / monthly and ensuring cover on a day-to-day basis as required to cover absence due to annual leave and / or sickness.
  • To provide safe and appropriate class programme relevant to customers' needs and emerging fitness trends.
  • To communicate regularly with Group Exercise Instructors through regular team meetings and 1:1's to give and gain feedback on classes.
  • To assist and lead in changes to the Group Exercise Timetable on a quarterly and annual basis.
