We run workshops on everything from sports to woodwork and everything in between, led by a team of experienced, driven staff with a range of skills from all walks of life.

Our workshops come under 5 main areas:
Sports and Leisure:
Everything from abseiling to driving 4-wheel drive vehicles, from ice skating to laser tag, if it's a sport or leisure activity we'll give it a go
Performing Arts and Media:
Creating stage shows, filming movies, using editing software, using theatre grade puppets, bringing multi-sensory experiences to lifethe only thing limiting our creative flair is imagination
Employability and Enterprise:
We cover employable skills from woodwork, catering and work experiences in the wider world, as well as planning, development and creation of bespoke products for sale.
We aim to give a thorough grounding in developing entrepreneurial skills.Developing Independence:
We all have a right to independence, and we aim to help people develop their skills to be as independent as possible.
We cover personal care, relationships, housekeeping, money handling, cooking and the simple joy of enjoying the world outside your front door.
Creative Arts:
Innovative art and design, taking inspiration from contemporary creatives, as well as artists from history and around the world.
We explore traditional and digital media to create a wide range of engaging artworks.
As a support worker you'll be working alongside our customers to engage in our workshops and activities, meaning your working day can give you amazing opportunities to join in with and enjoy beside our customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Get to know our customers, what's important to them and how they want to be supported.
- Advocate for and support those around you to have a voice and be heard.
- Communicate and give information in ways that our customers can understand, allowing them to make their own choices and decisions.
- Support our customers with their own personal and health care in a way that is sensitive, respectful and has been agreed with that person.
- Give our customers the help they need to engage in our workshops and activities.
- Encourage and support our customers to try new experiences, challenge themselves and take planned risks in their lives.
- Encourage and support our customers to be a part of our communities.
- Work well as part of our customers' support teams.
- Ensure the safety of our customers and others.
- Keep uptodate, accurate digital records.
- Work alongside people important to our customers' lives.
- Treat our customers with kindness, respect and dignity.
Your responsibilities to your team and to CoCoCare:
- Be flexible in your work.
