Job Title: Audit & Data Clerk

An exciting opportunity is available to join the Intensive Care Team at Morriston Hospital as an Audit & Data Clerk. The successful candidate should possess excellent IT, communication, organizational, and attention to detail skills.

The ideal applicant will have prior administration experience with a high level of computer literacy and the ability to effectively prioritize workload and meet deadlines.

The capacity to speak Welsh is a plus for this position; both Welsh and English speakers are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and relevant data provision from various sources to meet local and national standards.
  • Collect, collate, enter, and analyze data, and prepare and share reports.
  • Assist the Operational Lead for Critical Care in managing Critical Care databases, audit tools, and related software.
  • Deliver a proactive and innovative information service.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team and work independently when necessary.
Person Specification: Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent
  • ECDL certification or proficiency in Word or Excel applications
Experience
  • Proficiency in utilizing databases
  • Preferably prior experience in the NHS
  • Familiarity with hospital administration systems such as WPAS & WCP
Skills
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Proficient in creating grammatically correct reports and documents
Personal Attributes
  • Effective communication skills
  • Welsh language proficiency is advantageous
