Salary: Up to £28,000

Hours:

To be considered for the role of Nursery Manager you will have:
  • Level 3 (or above) childcare qualification
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS

About the Nursery:

The preschool based in Farnham Common, open during term times with 24 places. Following the Montessori Method and the Early Years Foundation Stage, the nursery delivers early education for children from approximately 2 years 6 months to 5 years. The nursery are looking for an experienced, passionate, reliable manager to work alongside our enthusiastic and dedicated team. Level 4 Montessori diploma desirable, other qualifications will be considered. The suitable candidate must have thorough knowledge of the EYFS, a solid understanding of safeguarding and excellent written and spoken English.

The role of a Nursery Manager within the Nursery involves:
  • Managing budgets, marketing, occupancy levels and KPI's.
  • Preparing for Ofsted inspections.
  • Assisting in the recruitment of nursery staff, manage inductions, supervisions, and appraisals.
  • Leading the team and support in EYFS planning and looking at reflective practice.
  • Managing staff rota's and staff meetings.
  • Ensuring children's observations, assessment and development records are maintained.
  • Having lead responsibility of Safeguarding and Health & Safety, ensuring all staff follow policy and procedures.
  • Working in partnership with parents forming caring and trusting relationships.
  • Liaising with the Local Authorities and other professionals associated with the nursery
