Main Duties of the Job:

  • Community outpatient physiotherapy service
  • MSK community multi-disciplinary triage of self-referrals
  • First contact practitioner within urgent primary care hubs, GP practices, and minor injuries units

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to develop a job plan autonomously or collaboratively with other professionals to provide expert musculoskeletal care. They will contribute to staff and student training, education, supervision, and appraisal in musculoskeletal service delivery areas.

Key Responsibilities: The role involves significant post-graduate experience within the specialty, managing complex caseloads, and working in multi-agency teams. It also requires experience in clinical governance, audit, service evaluation, research, staff development, education, and supervision.

Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • Diploma/Degree in physiotherapy

  • Advanced accredited training at masters level or equivalent
  • Accredited post-graduate specialist courses/training
