Role: Fleet Account Manager


Location: Formby



Working hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30


Salary: £2000 plus performance related bonus

As a pivotal member of our Fleet team, you will have a crucial role in propelling the department's commercial triumph.

Collaborating closely with the Fleet Commercial Operation, you will actively contribute to enhancing team performance and nurturing relationships with both new and existing clients. Additionally, you will support the wider Fleet/Branch Network and contribute to the Call Centre operations for the Taxi Department.


What you will be doing:

  • Utilizing the CRM system (Salesforce) to maintain updated files, customer outcomes, diary, leads, and opportunities.
  • Ensuring accuracy in all data entries and submissions to facilitate smooth operations and meet SLA turnarounds.
  • Engaging with inbound and outbound Universal Target Audience (UTA) leads to qualify for the next stages and achieve team KPIs.
  • Effectively communicating to build and sustain customer relationships and deliver exceptional service.
  • Exceeding team and departmental KPIs and budgetary requirements.
  • Managing own targets and driving continuous improvements in performance and productivity.
  • Establishing connections within the commercial industry and participating in commercial events to expand business development.
  • Supporting BDM in maintaining diaries and converting new business prospects.
  • Ensuring quality standards and delivering a high level of customer service.

What we're looking for:

  • Preferably, experience in insurance and account/portfolio management.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong communication skills: proficient in liaising with clients and insurance agents to understand their requirements and offer suitable solutions.
  • Sales acumen: skilled in identifying new business opportunities and converting leads into clients through effective selling techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and resolve client issues promptly.
  • Organizational skills: adept at managing multiple tasks, prioritizing workload, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Product knowledge: comprehensive understanding of insurance products, coverage options, and industry regulations.
  • Adaptability to changes in the insurance industry and market conditions to achieve business objectives.
  • Positive attitude, attention to detail, approachability, networking abilities, and relationship maintenance.
