Trainee Team Leader (full time up to 40 hours)
P&C Residential Services are recruiting for a Trainee Team Leader to join our established management team to oversee the running of a residential care service at The Fairways in Workington.
Our aim is to provide a home from home environment where resident choice, dignity, respect and independence is at the forefront of everything the team do.
- *
- To work as part of the management team under the guidance of the registered manager
- Contribute to assessment and care planning of residents
- Assist with regular reviews and audits of the service
- Provide effective leadership and support of the care team
- Facilitate effective communication and working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to staff training, performance reviews and supervision process
- Work as part of the team delivering the service
- Be part of the homes on call team on a rota basis
Qualities of a Team Leader
- To have a passion for delivering services to older adults
- To be caring, compassionate and person centred
- To bring fun and joy to the service
- Be qualified in Health and Social Care at level 3 or be prepared to work towards
- Give a commitment to ongoing selfdevelopment
What we offer
- Competitive salary of £26'000 (based on 40hour week)
- Two week rota working every other weekend. All shifts.

Trainee Team Leaders will complete a six month induction to the company which includes training on all aspects of our service.
