Contract Type: Part-Time, Permanent, Term-Time Only (38 weeks p.a.)

Start Date: 1st September 2024

Set in the delightful village of Colwich, we are a small, friendly and popular primary school that is dedicated to providing a broad and balanced curriculum allowing pupils to thrive. There is a warm and friendly atmosphere at the school and the children are at the heart of everything we do.

We wish to appoint a caring and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join our friendly motivated Lunchtime Team. The successful candidate will provide a high level of care for all of the children at our school during school lunchtimes.

You will take responsibility for the pupil's welfare, safety and supervision during the lunch break. Experience in a school environment is desirable but not essential.

Duties include: supervising and assisting children whilst they eat lunch, ensuring children are safe, happy and well-behaved during lunchtime, supervising children outside on the playground or in classrooms/hall throughout lunchtime and administering basic first aid (if required).

The successful candidate will be reliable and flexible and will start work as soon as clearances are received.

Colwich partnered with two other local primary schools in 2016 and converted to academy status to form the Mid-Trent MAT. This positive move is enhancing provision and opportunities for both pupils and staff. The successful candidates will be employed by the Mid-Trent Multi Academy Trust.

To apply please contact the school office on either or via e-mail for an application pack.

The closing date for applications is: 12pm 13th June 2024, interviews week commencing 17th June.

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people/vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

This position is subject to a criminal records check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB) which will require candidates to disclose details of all unspent and unfiltered spent reprimands, formal warnings, cautions and convictions on their application forms.
