As a Nova Systems Entry Level System Integration Design Engineer operating in the design organisation, you are responsible for development of designs and certification activities for projects assigned to you. This includes development of the required design outputs (models, drawings, reports, documents etc) in readiness for approval as tasked by the Design team leads or delegate, within the defined project budgets for the tasks assigned.
What will I be involved in:
Development and testing of system architecture and system interfaces that are compliant with the customer specification, functional requirements, appropriate certification requirements, and established design practices. Development of designs and design artefacts in accordance with our EASA Design handbook in line with the scope, schedule and budget of assigned projects as part of the project team. Translate the customer functional and certification requirements into the designs that you produce. Deliver on the certification, production, installation design support elements of the project in line with your allocated task budget and schedule. Continuously develop your competencies to gain strong understanding of the design guidelines, design rules and technical expertise in your discipline areas and technical domain.What are we looking for:
Educated to degree level in electrical/electronics engineering, aerospace engineering, computer systems engineering or mechatronics. Competence in 2D CAD tools for Avionics / Electrical design and MS Office products An understanding of the following would be desirable: DO-178 and DO-254, system safety analysis ARP 4754/4761, ARINC 664 databus, EWIS, MIL-STD-1553 databus, software development with specific knowledge in network stacks and application programming interfaces, mechatronics design, computer networking. You must hold a NATO-country passport and be eligible to work in the UK or Ireland. Ability to work with a wide range of people in a broad spectrum of projects.
