We develop and manufacture naturally biodegradable packaging solutions, made from seaweed and plants. We are currently looking to bring in a Production Associate to help us in our pursuit of manufacturing excellence.

You will work across our production and development facilities and will take responsibility for the manufacturing of a variety of our products, working on both fully fledged commercialised products and lower scale prototyping.

The manufacturing group within Notpla is responsible for creating our innovative and unique range of products. In particular, the team is tasked with the in-house production of our flagship Ooho product.

They are led by our Director of Development & Manufacturing, who has years of experience leading the development of sustainable packaging alternatives.

The team is incredibly dynamic, owning a flexible approach to problem-solving that allows them to flourish with this new and exciting product technology.

They are a group that celebrate change and have a constant desire to push the process and capabilities of their products forward.

As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for assisting in the manufacturing process of our in-house products, including Ooho, Film sachets, Seaweed milling, Paper products and Soft gel pipettes.


  • Operating machinery and equipment used in the production process
  • Assisting in the assembly and packaging of products
  • Monitoring and maintaining production line equipment
  • Conducting quality checks and ensuring products meet specifications
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Following standard operating procedures and production schedules
  • Reporting any equipment malfunctions or issues to the production supervisor
  • Participating in training and development opportunities to improve production skills
  • Assisting with inventory management and stock control
  • Other duties as assigned by the production supervisor or manager
