Experience - 16 to 20 YearsnJob Location - Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, Looking for Candidates from UK and Europe, EU Region willing to Relocate to Saudi ArabianSuccessful candidate will serve as the Company's foremost expert in Downstream strategy, and providesinsight and recommendations to the Downstream Finance, Strategy & Planning function, theDownstream President, and other members of Downstream Management.


The incumbent will independently initiate research on wide variety of topics relevant to the Company'scompetitive advantage in the Downstream business, and will prepare research and analyses as requiredby Downstream executive management, the Downstream Investment & Strategy Committee, or otherCorporate Committees.nThis will include analysis of developments in technology, geopolitics,sustainability and other relevant regulations, Saudi Arabia's government plans, and the Downstreamindustry in general.

Additionally, the incumbent will participate in the formulation and maintenance of the overarchingDownstream strategy, as well as in the management of Downstream strategy execution, among otherways through collaborating in the formulation of strategies for the Downstream businesses, translatingthe strategies into investment plans for capital planning purposes, as well into business plans for overallresource planning purposes, and KPI monitoring.nThe incumbent will furthermore lead, and/or collaborate in, strategic projects to execute decisionsresulting from strategic analyses.nThe role requires the building and maintaining of strong relationship with subject matter experts acrossthe Company, as well from think tanks and other industry advisory bodies, in order to keep abreast ofkey developments in the Downstream business globally, as well as other arenas that could impact the Downstream's competitive performance.

Previous experience in thefields of Carbon Management and ESG reporting will considered a plus.

nKey ResponsibilitiesnIncumbent performs alone, directs or coordinates the following activities:

  • Serves as the Company's foremost expert in Downstream strategy.
  • nActs as the "Corporate Advisor" for Downstream business related matters, and provides insightto Downstream Finance, Strategy & Planning function, the Downstream President, and othermembers of Downstream Management.
  • Prepares research and analyses for consumption by Downstream executive management, theDownstream Investment & Strategy Committee, or other Corporate Committees.
  • Collaborates in a group of strategists responsible for articulating the overall Downstreamstrategy for the Company, as well as the formulation of the outlook scenarios.
