Job Description

Exciting Opportunity for Fire and Security Engineers

Our client is looking for skilled engineers to join their team as they have recently secured new projects and contracts in the Northwest region.

Fire and Security Engineer Package:

  • Base salary of £36,000 with an additional £4,000 for overtime
  • Stable 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
  • Option for extra overtime
  • Weekly standby pay of £150 for call-outs
  • Generous holiday package of 22 days plus bank holidays, with potential to purchase up to 3 more days
  • All travel expenses covered from the moment you leave home until you return

Responsibilities of the Fire and Security Engineer:

  • Installation, servicing, and maintenance of various security systems including fire alarms, access control, intruder alarms, nurse call systems, door entry, and CCTV
  • Conducting minor repairs on the above systems
  • Reporting to the engineering manager
  • Accurate and timely completion of all required paperwork
  • Managing workload, inventory, and company vehicle

Requirements for Fire and Security Engineer role:

  • Preferably 2+ years of experience in the fire and security industry
  • Familiarity with British Standards and health and safety protocols
  • Valid UK driver's license
  • CSCS or ECS certification
  • Manufacturer training is a bonus but not mandatory
  • Desirable Level 3 qualification
  • Able to pass security screening
