A highly reputable Special Educational Needs (SEN) school group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead ICT Teacher to join their team in West Yarmouth, South Devon. This is a permanent contract position, commencing in September 2024.
Position Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): The candidate must hold a valid QTS certification.
*Experience in SEN Education: Proven experience working within an SEN educational setting is essential.
*ICT Proficiency: Strong knowledge and expertise in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) are required.
*Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire both students and staff in the ICT department.
*Curriculum Development: Experience in designing and implementing ICT curriculum tailored to the needs of SEN students.
*Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
*Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
*Passion for Education: A commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Responsibilities:
*Leading the ICT department and overseeing the delivery of high-quality ICT education.
*Developing and implementing innovative ICT teaching strategies and resources.
*Supporting and mentoring other ICT staff members.
*Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing tailored support where necessary.
*Collaborating with other educators and specialists to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
*Staying updated with the latest advancements in ICT and SEN education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
