Our client is currently searching for a Sub/Site Agent with a solid background in Civil Engineering to take charge of overseeing construction projects from start to finish.

The Site Agent's main role will involve managing day-to-day operations at construction sites, ensuring that project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards are met.

The perfect candidate will possess outstanding leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a dedication to delivering top-notch Civil Engineering projects on schedule and within the established budget.

Responsibilities:


- Coordinate and supervise construction activities on-site, such as earthworks, concrete works, drainage systems, utilities installation, and road construction, to guarantee compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.

- Plan and organize construction activities, resources, and materials in collaboration with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project deadlines and milestones.

- Monitor the progress against project schedules, identify any potential delays or issues, and take corrective measures to keep the project on track in terms of timelines and budget.

- Carry out regular site inspections, safety audits, and quality control checks to ensure that work is carried out safely, precisely, and in line with contract requirements.

- Supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and construction teams, offering guidance, direction, and assistance to ensure efficient and effective work execution.

- Maintain ongoing communication with project stakeholders, such as clients, engineers, architects, and regulatory bodies, to provide updates on project advancement, address any concerns, and resolve emerging issues promptly.

- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices on construction sites by implementing safety procedures and risk mitigation strategies when necessary.

- Prepare and keep accurate documentation, including daily progress reports, site diaries, inspection records, and as-built drawings, to monitor project activities, expenses, and changes.

- Manage site resources, equipment, and inventory by organizing logistics, maintenance, and procurement to support construction operations efficiently.

- Promote a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous enhancement among the site staff, fostering a positive work environment and a dedication to excellence in project delivery.
