We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Sushi Chef to join our growing team at Sunset Hospitality Group – UK.

Reopening in the near future following thrilling renovations, Sachi is a well-known restaurant and rooftop bar in Belgravia that offers top-notch Japanese culinary delights.

From traditional dining to the unique 'kappo ryori' approach, our culinary philosophy shines through.

Spanning two floors, Sachi embodies the essence of Japanese lifestyle with a blend of art, music, and authentic flavors.

We are seeking a skilled Head Sushi Chef to collaborate with our acclaimed Head Chef, overseeing our Omakase and Sushi teams.

This role involves active participation in the daily kitchen management under the guidance of our Head Chef.

  • Maintain exceptional food quality while upholding excellence standards.
  • Ensure top-notch service in the Sushi and Omakase sections, enhancing the overall dining experience.
  • Establish, monitor, and enforce the highest standards of hygiene and safety following all legal requirements.
  • Inspect food quality pre and post preparation, making necessary adjustments.
  • Collaborate on seasonal menu updates alongside the Head Chef.
  • Provide training and guidance on sushi and omakase techniques to junior chefs.

Prior experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment, ideally in a Michelin-starred or upscale restaurant, is essential.

  • Thorough understanding of Food Safety, HACCP, Sanitation, and Personal Hygiene fundamentals.
