We're growing our Stores team and are looking for someone who is great with people, able to multi task and interested working in a Stores environment, to join us.

The UK stores team are responsible for the receipt, storage and shipping of parts and finished goods from our warehouse in Cambridge. This involves working with our ERP and associated systems, and liaising with several internal departments on a regular basis to ensure we're delivering successfully for our customers.

We are currently hiring a Stores Operative to join the team. This role would suit someone with a proactive attitude, interest in working in a stores environment and a desire to learn. Experience in a similar role would be beneficial, but it's not essential as we'll provide training and guidance to the right candidate.

The Stores Operative is responsible for a variety of daily tasks from incoming receipt and inspection to dispatching items to our customers. You would be responsible for working closely to our defined internal processes and standards of quality, whilst ensuring that our systems are updated accurately at each stage.

You would be responsible for:

Working as part of the UK stores team to deliver a processional and efficient service to the site including:Incoming receipt and inspectionStorage of parts in a safe mannerKitting of works ordersIssuing of shortages to work ordersIssuing stores requestsDispatching items from MRP from salesCreating Excel shipment paperworkCompleting shipping material requests to other plantsSending relevant emails on shipmentsReceiving RMA and Demo machinesEnsuring the stores area is kept clean, tidy and safe at all timesUpdating the MRP system daily with the correct BIN locationsEnsuring a high level of stock accuracy on the MRPArranging courier collections as required Adhering to quality procedures in all aspects of the role Communicating with internal colleagues regularly to resolve issues and ensure we're meeting company objectives Working with the finance team as required to carry out stock checks
