We are now looking to recruit Fire Door Inspectors throughout the UK, who will be responsible for travelling to various sites to inspect fire doors.

Working with current standards, the Inspector will also be expected to build professional relationships with our clients and residents.


Applications are welcomed from experienced Fire Door Inspectors working within the Fire Protection and Service industry or non-experience, depending on your transferable skill set.

This role will include the following;

  • Travelling regionally to a variety of sites
  • Inspecting fire doors at each site in a timely, efficient and costeffective manner.
  • Using an app on a mobile device to follow a checklist to report on the status of each fire door.
  • Building professional relationships with all clients.
  • Maintaining accurate and precise documentation of works completed.
  • Following the process to ensure each inspection is completed correctly.
  • Handling tools of various types and ensuring safe setup.
  • Adhering to safety guidelines whilst on the job site.
  • Good practical, coordination skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Physical strength and stamina
  • Experience in carrying out Fire Door Inspections is essential but can be a transferable skill set
  • High attention to detail.
  • Able to drive
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Strong work ethic
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent timekeeping and time management skills
  • Ability to cope with a high volume of work
  • Willingness to go the extra mile

Job Types:

Part-time hours: 40 per week

Salary:
£15.00-£35.00 per hour
