Summary We are looking for someone to join our campsite team and play a role in the management of our busy campsite shop and food and beverage offer.

What it's like to work here The shop, located within our reception building, functions as the centralhub of the site for our guests and staff.

The shop offers a range of essential items for a campsite stay including groceries, drinks, snacks, beer, wine, camping equipment, maps and a selection of toys and gifts.

Our food and beverage offer runs alongsideour retail offer serving hot drinks and a simple hot, takeaway breakfast offer prepared on site.

What you'll be doing The Food & Beverage & Retail Manager will be responsible for the efficient running of the retail and F&B operation everything from:

  • Ordering stock and stock management
  • Ensuring that all retail and food safety compliance tasks are adhered to with records being kept up to date
  • Ensuring good housekeeping and excellent levels of presentation in the retail, kitchen, stock room areas and reception building as a whole
  • Being very customer focused and facing undertaking tasks such as guest welcome, orientation, check ins, taking bookings and providing information on local amenities, attractions and activities
  • Serving customers, using the till and food and drink preparation

Although this role doesn't have direct line manager duties you will supervise and work closely with other members of the campsite team, who will also be expected to carry out shop and food preparation duties.

Occasionally you may be asked to carry out othercampsites duties for which full training and instruction will be provided.
