The Road to Recovery Trust supports people recovering from addiction to realise their potential.


George Street Social serves as a hub for those in recovery to attend recovery meetings, socialise and to enjoy the well-being services on offer.


Our aim is to maintain a safe space for those in early recovery and further opportunities for people who want to re-engage with society.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our vibrant and inclusive team as a cleaner.


We are a wholly inclusive team and welcome people no matter where they are on their recovery journey from addiction.

Our ultimate goal is to help people to find meaning and purpose in their lives.

About you

You should:

  • Have experience as a cleaner, or be able to demonstrate transferable skills.
  • Be able to work 10 hours per week, over five mornings, Monday to Friday (with the possibility of very occasional weekend work).
  • Have a fine eye for detail.
  • Have a good working knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety at work regulations.
  • Be reliable with excellent time keeping skills.
  • Be open, warm and friendly.
